If you’re in the Philly area from, well, now until may 12, pick up tickets to see the Langhorne Players production of David Mamet’s Pulitzer-winning play, Glengarry Glen Ross. You may be asking yourself, why would I want to go see a local theater production? And the answer is, you might not. But if you’re in the Philly area, the show is being directed by good friend Ben Smallen. It’s his first professional production and he could use the love and support of our Philly readers.
Plus, it’s fucking Mamet! Need I offer more. You can grab a cheese steak, take in a ballgame and grab some good theater while you’re there!
The production runs April 27th, 28th and 29th; May 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th; May 9th (followed by talkback session with the director and cast), 10th, 11th and 12th. For more information go to www.langhorneplayers.org and for tickets please contact the box office at 215-860-0818.
