God only knows where I’d be without my glasses. I can’t wear contacts. Thankfully, I don’t have to wear bifocals or trifocals or any such thing.
But if I did, like my dad, I might be thanking Stephen Kurtin right about now. For it is he who has invented a pair of glasses which “can free nearly two billion people around the world from bifocals, trifocals and progressive lenses.”
So how do they work? Well, with an adjustable slider on the bridge of the frame. Don’t scoff, these glasses are nearly 20 years in the making.
