The one universal toy most kids have played with are Legos. Both boys and girls, alike. Everyone loves Legos! And though I’ve never been sucked into the vortex of MMORPGs, this undecidedly looks cool. Imagine becoming immersed into a fantastical adventure world, where you can go all Magneto and rearrange the famous building blocks into whatever you need. I would play the shit out of this game and not feel the least bit embarrassed or ashamed. Being an adult and all.
Lego Universe is a MMOG (essentially a less involved MMORPG aimed at kids of all ages) created/developed by NetDevil Games.
“LEGO Universe invites players to explore, battle, make friends, and flex their imaginations with the brick in a vibrant online world. Developed by The LEGO Group and NetDevil, LEGO Universe is a family-friendly online game, appropriate for players aged eight and above,” a press release states. ” The LEGO brick lies at the center of the experience, and several levels of building are available, from simple gameplay-oriented challenges all the way up to sophisticated brick-by-brick building.”
As far as I can tell, there is no information on when this game will be available to play or even Beta test, but rest assured, based on the trailer above and how jazzed we are to play this game, we’ll keep you posted. [via]
