“The Chase” is an Intel promo that takes place inside the programs on a Windows desktop, It’s a digital reality action sequence, selling the performance capabilities of the Core i5 processor. It reminds me of the BMW driver ad series from a decade ago (maybe more), but not as stylized or well done as the BMW ads.
On another level, this strikes me as an add for how far computers, programs and the internet have advanced in just under a decade. This ad would be unthinkable in 2000. Of course, if this ad took place on my computer, she would end up in a gonzo-style porno — but that’s neither here nor there. [via laughingsquid]
