Fruit and Vegetable MRIs

Andy Ellison works at Boston’s BU medical school. As part of his job, he has access to a research-only MRI scanner; over the past few months he’s been using a panoply of fruits and vegetables to calibrate and check the quality of the MRI scans. Rather than throwing those images away, Ellison started posting many of them to his blog, Inside Insides. [via colossal]
