Interesting thought experiment from the New York Times, wherein they asked three artists to imagine what it would be like if other consumer food products had to adhere to the same proposed rules as cigarette warnings. “Once again, a familiar issue was engaged: where to draw the line between our freedom to damage ourselves and the role of government to protect us.” I don’t know how to answer that philosophical conundrum, but I do like freedom! Especially to damage myself. Or my liver. If we’re being specific.
