Japanese brewery Kirin has unveiled a frozen beer foam to keep brews cold and essentially amounts to a liquid beer slurpee. The frozen beer foam is created using a process where air is blown into the beer as it is slowly stirred and chilled to a temperature of -5 degrees Celsius.
Ichiban Shibori Frozen Draft is currently available in Tokyo.
We should probably expect Budweiser to roll out something similar to this in the near future. Beer slurpies probably go over well with the frat boys. [via PSFK]
