May the best one win, and I can’t believe I’m going to say it, but I think my affection lies with Pierce Brosnan, who was clearly let down by everyone involved in production during his foray.
Two other thoughts, as I write this watching Quantum of Solace, which was unfairly judged during it’s release. It’s a very good Bond entry, even if it’s very un-Bond-like.
One, George Lazenby was pretty great in his one stint as Bond. Oddly, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service was the first Bond movie I ever saw and I watched that VHS about a million times as seven-year-old. Two, Daniel Craig has a chance to really cement himself up there with Sean Connery if he makes two or three more high quality Bond movies. Time will tell. [via]
