Now that Hugh Jackman and his X-Men Origins: Wolverine topped the box office to the tune of $87 million, despite bad reviews, swine flu fears, bad press and a leaked internet print, two questions must be answered.
1) Why does no one seem to care about Hugh Jackman unless he’s Wolverine or hosting the Oscars?
2) Can we know stop with the ridiculousness that internet piracy absolutely hurts the entertainment industry’s bottom line? I know one case doesn’t make for causality, but it seems all the people saying the internet leak would definitely hurt Wolverine’s box office owns us an apology. Afterall, the Wolverine audience is probably the same audience that were downloading the movie in the first place.
