I’ll agree, that Gene Hackman scene is crazy good. But this scene? This has everything going for it: the slow build, the seat belt buckle at 3:25, the car sounds, Lalo Schifrin’s score, jesus h. christ. It has everything. It was the first time in cinematic history that a camera was mounted to a car during a chase for god’s sake!
