“Up” Director Pete Doctor’s Student Film, “Winter”, is Adorable

Pete Doctor, who directed the brilliant Pixar film Up attended the California Institute of the Arts. And before he became one of Pixar’s most valuable contributors (He also directed Monsters, Inc., and did screenwriting and animation work on Toy Story, Wall-E, etc.) he wrote and directed an adorable little student film named Winter. Though brief, at only  a minute and a half, there is much joy in the story about a little boy who becomes excited at the first snowfall, gets bundled up to play outside and then realizes he cannot enjoy the snow because of how over-dressed he is.
