Disney and Marvel have officially slotted Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man for November 6, 2015. That comes after The Avengers 2, as a point of reference, meaning Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne (aka, Wasp) could be introduced in any of the Marvel 2.0 movies before getting their own feature. Hopefully, if that’s the case, Marvel does it a bit more skillfully than what they did with Hawkeye in Thor.
Speaking of the Norse God, the next chapter in his saga sounds interesting enough:
Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.
That one comes out November 8, 2012 as part of the second phase.
