The Dream Team is a documentary about the legendary 1992 USA Olympic basketball team that featured an impressive 11 hall of fame players in the prime of their careers. Three out of the four coaches are in the hall of fame and the team itself has even been enshrined. They dominated the Olympics in a way that no other team has.
About the only thing the team did wrong was pick Duke’s Christian Laettner over LSU’s Shaquille O’Neal for the obligatory amateur player, which was justifiable at the time.
The doc was produced by NBA TV (so it’s probably a little fluffy and rose-tinted) and premieres June 13th at 9 p.m. EST on NBA TV. [via theaggregate]
