This video isn’t but it certainly took me for a trip down memory lane to when videos like this could space me out entirely. At some point we’re going to compile our list for animated videos to do drugs to. Not that we’d condone anything like that, but you know, just in case you wanted to compare lists or were looking for some suggestions. Now the below clip comes from a larger collection known as Animusic. They’ve produced two videos so far that can be purchased. Here’s to hoping they do a third or join forces with Disney whenever that company decides the time is right for the latest rendition of Fantasia.
The animation company’s website is fairly lame.
Our principal focus is the production of 3D computer graphics music animation. We primarily create original content, such as our “video album”, but have also produced animation for clients. Both the graphics and the music are entirely digitally synthesized. Virtual instruments are invented by building computer graphics models of objects that would appear to create the sound of the corresponding music synthesizer track. Graphical instruments range from being reminiscent of existing instruments to arbitrarily abstract.
Good to know. Enjoy the two minute clip.
