A few weeks back we heard a great interview on NPR regarding the next president and the science he must understand. It was a riveting interview. Essential, I think, for anyone interested in politics, science, and science policy; particularly so, given President Bush’s complete lack of intellectual curiosity.
Smashing Telly has dug up an hour long program that imagines a briefing for the new president (it was made just before the election) and asks some well known scientists what they would teach the President. Among those featured are Richard Dawkins and Michio Kaku. It’s about 50-minutes long. [via]
