“First you get hungry. Then you get really funny, and then you get tired.” — Mykayla Comstock, 7, who takes a gram of cannabis oil daily for her leukemia.
It is believe that Comstock is one of Oregon’s youngest medical marijuana patients. Her mother, who is 25, has been responsible for obtaining the treatment. Her biological dad, who lives in North Dakota, was responsible for alerting authorities.
Oregon law requires no monitoring of a child’s medical marijuana use by a pediatrician, but we’re guessing that could change if there is enough outrage over this story.
