Comedy Central’s new logo is on the right and lots of people are criticizing it for looking too much like the Copyright symbol. Which, you know, it obviously does!
From Flavorwire: “According to the network’s creative director, Bob Salazar, the new look “is the irreverent wink of Comedy Central.” The logo is part of a larger redesign project geared toward updating the channel’s look and integrating well with social media.”
I actually don’t think the logo is all that bad, and least of all the weird copyright-esque symbol. What’s driving me bonkers about it is the word “CENTRAL” being upside down and backwards.
