Written and first sung by Dolly Parton, made famous by Whitney Houston, and absolutely nailed by Chris Cornell at a recent concert in San Francisco as a tribute to the late-Whitney Houston.
I still think I prefer the Parton version, but it goes to show how great a song is when there can be three distinct versions, by three very different singers and all three are deeply, emotionally moving. [via buzzfeed]
