I’m not typically won over by lame advertising gimmicks (TNT’s recent one aside), but I’ve got to give kudos to Coke Zero for this James Bond/’Skyfall‘ effort they set up in a UK train station. It definitely put a smile on my face, and yes, I realize that’s a Coke slogan, so it shows just how vulnerable I am to Coke’s advertising charms.
Whatever. I just want to run around a train station with people singing the Bond theme. Is that too much to ask?
Also: The Economist (of all places) tallies up the average kills, hook-ups, and martinis drunk per movie for each of the actors who’ve portrayed James Bond.
Also-er: The reviews for ‘Skyfall’ have been through the roof. Some are calling it the best Bond movie ever, some are going so far as to call it Oscar-worthy, and some are saying it’s yet another perfect reinvention of the character. Regardless of all of that, the movie is currently sitting at 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, with 32 reviews to date.
As if I wasn’t already excited for ‘Skyfall’. [via aicn]
